12:48 p.m. - 2002-10-23 It seems to me that this diary is just a long stream of words, not meant to go together, but to just represent what she was feeling at the time. That sounds like a typical diary, but it's not, really. It's almost like stream of consciousnsess.. just a whole bunch of randomness put together in a string of entries. Honestly, I skipped around on most of them. It's not exactly captivating stuff. She is an interesting writer and she'll throw in some of her lyrics and poems, which are okay. She tells us about her issues with her dad, and issues with the zombies at school. She has a lot to say, but it just seems like she's saying it for herself, and not an audience. Which is absolutely fine, really, but not something that goes over well with reviewers, right? The layout is a Lex design, and while I do appreciate Lex's fine work, this one I don't like too much. Too much white space and all kinds of other crazy stuff. This isn't a bad journal, it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to people that aren't her. I give Corie an unlimited supply of Frosted Flakes. * Liz *
