GNU-HIGH!

Ahh, where do I start?

Bad news first, I guess. I really didn't like this layout, a Twice Removed Design. I can see the appeal that it has - its quite calming and crappola, but it's also really dull and I don't think it really represents you very well. I also didn't like the whole scrolling doohickey. I think you'd do better without the scrolling doohickey.

In other news, a bio or an about me page would be a lovely addition to this diary. One of the first entries I read was this one, and I was kinda like, "Ehhhh?" I just think a bio would be helpful. I want to know more about you!

I was pleasantly surprised to find out that you live in Austin! I was all excited about that, really. I don't think I get to review many people that live close to me. I have reviwed a few who actually went to my school, but I digress. I just got really excited every time you mentioned Austin. I smiled when you talked about venturing out to the South Side. I live in the south! It's not that bad! We will bite, though.

Anyway, that was certainly a tangent.

I really liked this diary. Of course, it has a lot to do with the fact that you aren't a teenager and you don't write like one. I can ALWAYS appreciate that bit of greatness. I like all the fun stories you have to tell.

My favorite entry of yours was this one. I don't even know why, really, but just the way you talked about certain events in your life touched me, I guess. I also liked this one, if just for this quote:

"I do have a few things to look forward to this week; little tasty morsels of time to savor in one's mouth just a wee bit longer than the usual fare. But I must first make it through the workday before I can enjoy any of these weeknight activities."

That right there is good stuff.

You are most definitely a writer and I enjoy your tales. The only gripe I had was with the layout. Also, you do seem to mention your bed time habits a lot. I don't know why, but I just thought I could have lived without that information in a majority of your entries.

To sum it up, first of all I did this review addressing you, which I hardly ever do if you look back on most of the reviews I've done. I think that means I like you. Maybe it's the Austin thing, or maybe it's because you have me on your favorites. But I really liked it, and I'm definitely going to come back. I think you have earned a spot on my favorites. Yay!

I obviously give you an A+.
