I can honestly say that this diary totally sucked me in.
I mean, who would have thought? I don't know why I like some diaries and hate others when they pretty much have the same content. But I really liked this one, teenage drama and everything.
I like Nikki. I think she's cute and has some really cute puppy dogs, too. I respect the fact that at 16, she had a relationship with her boyfriend for 2 years. That relationship isn't really working properly at the moment, but the guy sounds like he has magically turned into a tool overnight. I mean, seriously? "Exclusive friends?" What a dork.
Anyway. I read quite a few entries in this diary. I didn't read all of them, because they go back to April of 2001. If I had some time to spare, I might go back and read some of the old old entries for shits and giggles because I was just that interested in this diary!
I liked her entry where she does some trash talking.
A typical entry is something like this, which is all over the place and does a thorough job of letting us know what's going on. Plus, her mom said her nose would look cute if she got it pierced. My mom? She's not that cool.
It's just interesting. I liked the drama. I liked her. What can I say? I dug it.
As for the layout.. the big juicy lips at the top began to disturb me after a while, but they probably do a good representation of the content, which is important.
So, yeah. I liked it. I liked the drama. I liked everything, except maybe the big juicy lips. I give Nikki an A+. Yay! I think I'm going to add her to my favorites, too. I haven't done that with a diary I've reviewed in a looong time.
