I first reviewed Liadlaith about a hundred years ago, when I first started this whole reviewing monstrosity. I guess I didn't really get too in depth with stuff at the time, so let's roll up our sleeves and get in the mud, shall we?
That sounded dorky, and I apologize.
The layout is not really all that appealing to me. I don't like white backgrounds, first of all. It's a little neat to have to hover on the links to see what they are, but then again, that's really not so cool. I don't want to play a guessing game with my links, you know? But other than those two things, well done with the whole self-made layout thing. I can always appreciate someone who can do that.
Content. Content gets a bit windy at times, to tell you the truth. Some entries, like this one and quite a few others, I just skimmed and then moved on. Others had me saying "WoW! That's good stuff!" Because it is, essientially, good stuff.
Maybe it's just the state of mind I'm in right now, but I really liked and could relate to this entry. I like when I can relate to things.
Also, I love the fact that I'm not the only person on the earth who listens to the commentaries. That makes me happy.
The real point here is that Liad here is smart. She isn't all tweeny and dramatic and cutting herself, and I can appreciate all these qualities. She lets the content speak for itself, and it speaks loudly. She writes very intelligently, and I have to praise her for this good stuff. Yes, it was a bit windy and a bit boringlicious at times, but geez louise, who's diary is interesting all the time? Besides mine, of course.
I give Liadlaith a 96.
