Nevermore
NEVERMORE!

Welp, I was just going to review your real journal, but I decided that since you asked for the poetry to be reviewed, I'd go ahead and do that. I'm just not much of a poetry girl anymore. I totally used to be, don't get me wrong, but not anymore.

Let's start with the basics. I HATE your layout. I liked the old one so much better, mostly because I totally love Saliva and I thought the whole vibe matched the vibe you're putting out there. But I strongly dislike this one, ESPECIALLY because the damn previous/next links don't work. That's just wrong. Make them work. It's not that hard.

On a similar note, I found lots of little spelling errors that to me kinda took away from what you're trying to accomplish here, which is just plain poetry and nothing else. So, do a spell check or something.

As for the poetry, I dug it for the most part. Most of them reminded me of stuff I wrote when I was around your age. I haven't written or even really read any poetry for a while, and it makes me a tad uncomfortable to actually review your creativity, but you asked.

There were some that kinda escaped my attention, and there were some that even kind of concerned me a little. I know at your age you tend to get wrapped up in love and stuff, but you shouldn't let it consume you. I, of course, have no right to speak on the subject, so let's move on.

There was good stuff. This one was my absolute favorite. I also like this one a lot because it's not just about you, but quite involved with other people's feelings and such. Some of your poems were more like letters, which is really kinda cool. I can dig that.

So I'm not going to say "Well, this is how you can improve your poetry," because my poetry was crap. That's why I pretty much gave up on it. But it's good, and you should keep writing and improving on what is some good talent. Good job.

And I also wanted to comment on reading one page of your journal and just completely identifying with every word you said. So just know you aren't alone, and even people 9 years older than you feel exactly the same way. Which sucks. But what can ya do.

I give you some pen and pencils and paper to keep writing.
