So, I've been on hiatus for a while. I have finally decided to get off my ass and review Liz's diary.
I wanted to be interested in this diary because it's not shlocky teen angst stuff, but I just wasn't. I read a whole lot of entries, and the interest just wasn't showing up.
First of all, good lord! That layout! It literally looks like shit. It's butt ugly, seriously. I mean.. I can understand the concept that you might have been going for here, but lordy! Yuck, that's what I say about that. And the whole "that is all" got old really quick.
This was the best entry I came across, because it was kinda poetic and not exceptionally boring like some of the entries I came across. It's very big on daylogging, and I'm not so big into that at this point. You have a way of writing that's really mostly for yourself and not for the entertainment of others, which is cool, but not really good for your readers.
This was purty.
I appreciate the fact that you aren't whiny and that you are, in fact, quite intelligent. But that doesn't mean you have an interesting diary. I don't really have any advice for you.. just keep on truckin, I guess.
