Oh dear.
I couldn't bring myself to be even remotely interested in this diary. The 11 year age difference might have something to do with it. I noticed in a lot of her reviews, they said that she's "very mature" for her age. I didn't notice. Sorry.
It's too girly, too flowerly, too prose-y. Looking at this oh so pink layout, one might even expect to find Mariah Carey lyrics and entries about what she thinks love is. Whole entries about loving clouds, while slightly cute, didn't hold my attention and just made me read faster so I could get this review over with.
I'm certainly not going to read mega long and boring entries that talk about nothing I'm interested in. The one entry I was slightly interested in had me thinking, "Why can't she just go off on her dad instead of using flowery language and being all 'woe is me' about things?" I'd like a "My fucking father pisses me the hell off, damnit!" Not "My eyes welled up with tears as I thought about the hatred I held for him."
The words "Trying too hard" comes to mind.
So, that's about it. I wasn't impressed. Sorry.
I give her a C+.
