Okay, let's just all admit to ourselves that this layout is really, really bad. It's a J Design, and in its original state its not so bad. But in this carnation.. ouch. Don't you do layouts yourself? Can't you make something a little better than this monstrosity?
I've never really been very picky about layouts, but I want to dissect this one. First of all, your links. They say "new" and old" when they mean "next" and "previous." The original layout does it right, but the links here are just confusing. You click on "new" and expect to see the index, but instead you just go to the next entry. You click on "old" and expect to go to the older page, but the older page is titled "all of it." That's just dorky, people. Seriously. I realize that's picky of me, especially because it does say "newest" too, but I just don't like it. It doesn't make sense to alter a good layout like that.
As for content, I wasn't all that impressed. It seems like some of your older entries are a little less rushed and are more well written, but maybe that's just me. Your entries are quite random and bounce around a lot, causing me to really lose interest quite quickly.
Honestly, I really wanted to like this one. I looked at your pictures and you're so cute! As stupid as this sounds, I wanted to like it more because you look like such a cute and fun loving kind of chick. Reading your 90 things was so interesting, and I hoped that all of your entries would be like that. Needless to say, I was quite disappointed.
I could do without all the lyrics and crap, first of all. I know its your diary and you can do whatever the hell you want, but I'm really not a lyrics fan.
Some of your entries really showed me that you have the potential to write so much more than you do. Right now it's merely a day log, and not a very interesting one at that. Give me more. That's all I have to say. Give.me.more. Because it has the potential to be awesome.
Your first priority is to do something with this terrible layout. It's really taking away from the good stuff.
